Wow. When I first looked at the length of this blog post, I thought, “Uh oh. Why so long?” Then I read it and it was incredibly informative with a dash of bitterness, which I loved.

LOL on the dash of bitterness. More like just incredible annoyance at the whole thing. The funny thing is I technically don’t write “chick lit” but I have a voice that is often considered a chick lit-like voice, so it certain affected me to have the industry blanket-nix the strong 1st person voice!
